45 Royals sweep Braves on Saturday

Well it's kind of like kissing your sister i suppose since it was the B division but i will say it was tons of fun playing ball all of September and after the first weekend of playoffs with 50 degree rainy weather we couldn't have had a better day than yesterday.

Game 1 had Atwell facing off against Bonaparte. After a scoreless first the Royals struck for 7 with two out in the bottom of the 2nd and never looked back as they cruised to a 14-2 win in game 1.

Game 2 had Samarija on the mound facing DeNicola. Royals jumped out to a 4-0 lead before the Braves struck for four in the bottom of the 2nd (or 3rd?) to tie the game. Royals answered right back with 5 to go up 9-4. Big hit of the game goes to Brad Buchan who came up with bases loaded and two outs and lined a ball to right that got by a diving right fielder and cleared the bases. Final score ended up 13-5 Royals.

Congrats to the Royals winning the 45 B championship. Well deserved by some very talented and classy players. Probably ready for the A division.
Wish we could have given them a better series but sometimes the baseballs gods aren't always with you. The sun gods sure were.
Well done and a great season. See you all next year and some of you in Florida.

Congrats to both teams.
We hope to see you join the ranks of the A-division, as both teams are definitely qualified.

Congratulations to the Royals on winning the B title. It was well deserved. You were obviously the best of the B's this year and held your own against the A's too. We had two great games this season, but it wasn't in the cards for the Braves this weekend. Looking forward to meeting you again next year, whatever division we wind up in.
