The 33 semi finals start tonight @6 with Mets vs Dodgers which looks to be a highly competitive series As they split in the reg season . This series is at Bob Moore with game 2 wed @6 and thurs if necessary. At 830 @ Rogowicz the Yankees take on the Indians, with game 2 Wed and thurs if necessary both @6 @ rogo.
Good luck to all, as they both should be exciting, come and to support and see some nice baseball.
What will Q "MVP" Jensen, Wil "Hound Dog" Horan, Nick "Say it ain't so" Matthews, Jami "3rd degree" Burn-setter and the rest of the big boomer Indian bats of the do against The Lexter, Dave "Smitty Smitherman, Ed "Pow-Pow" Powell, Matt "Big Dog" Richardson, and the rest of the yank pitching staff?
And what will the big Yank bats of Josh "I'm not in Israel anymore" Kelly, Tony "Pound 'em out" Parella, and Eric "D-Day" Duemler do against the Indian arms of Jami, BJ "Don't call me Sir-hoff" Roberts, Jason "J-Rod" Rodriguez, and ace Greg "Where's my Cy Young" Witaleck???
In the #2 v #3 Matchup:
It's the Dodgers looking to 4-peat but for the first time without the pitching services of the legendary Jimmy "I'm~All" Shook up as he's down following shoulder surgery. Or is he???
There were some grapevine rumblings he may be ready to try and pitch, but after being hurt last year and losing some of his stuff last year even before the surgery, then having not pitched in a live game situation all year (as far as I know anyways), that seems unlikely...
Of course, 50% of his valuable right arm prolly still leaves him a better pitcher than anyone else in the league, so we'll see soon enough I'm sure...
Regardless, they have Andy "Side Arm" Sardella who was last year's Championship MVP, The one and only Mickster, and Kenny "Who we've never seen" Ward to throw...
We hit Andy pretty hard in a reg season victory over them which I knows doesn't mean that much now, but our confidence is up for sure...
On our side, it's our big bats of Gary "Band-Aid" Bosko, Josh "Don't write my name with a D" Mickalonis, Greg "Pretty Boy" DeMarco, "Mean~as_" Mikey Thompson, and Dan "The Finkster"Finke himself leading the way. Bottom of our order ain't no picnic either as we can all hit regardless of whoever's on the hill for them...
From the mound for us will be Mean Mikey throwing flames and The Finkster is the starting ace. I bring in the change of pace view and we're a little down about last year's ace Jeremy "Barnsie" Barnes having on-going shoulder issues of his own. We have plenty of other arms too as Josh and Bosko both throw when needed, but we're not looking to go that deep unless we have no choice...
Good Luck to All,
And to All a Good Night!
Have some fun out there fellas!
