The Golden Marlins banged out 9 hits and worked 8 walks and one HBP to plate 9 runs against 4 Blue Jays pitchers.
The Fish were led by Shawn Maney's 2-run HR in the 5th inning. Jim Ansel and Mike Girard added 2 singles each for the Marlins.

The Marlins scored 3 in the 4th, 2 in the 5th, and 4 in the 6th to take a 9-3 lead, but helped the Blue Jays make it a tight game by committing 5 errors in the bottom of the 6th.
With the score 9-8 entering the bottom of the 7th, the Golden Marlins settled down and got a very quiet inning with a strike out, soft liner to short, and a ground out to short to secure the victory.

John Weber had 2 singles and a double and Pat Alston added a solo homer to lead the Blue Jays.
The Marlins improve to 3-7 with the win.
