A cameraman showed up unexpectedly Wednesday night to take a few clips of the Hawks-Giants game and then wanted an interview about our league. It will be shown on the 6 and 11 p.m. newscasts Thursday on Ch. 13. Unfortunately, we were not given a heads-up on this or I would have asked John Reel or another Board member to be there to do the interview. In fact, the cameraman didn't show up till the 5th inning. I'm just hoping this will give us the publicity to help us to continue to evolve and get us another field - or two. jimk

From my standpoint, this was good and much needed publicity for our league. Thanks to Jim K for good words, and to all in the league who do so much to keep baseball alive and "kicking" for all of us to enjoy!!!
Just to clarify, Jerry Solomon set this up. He lives next door to Rodger Wyland and had spoken to him several times about CDMSBL. So, a big thanks to Solomon, who also has been a contact and influence for our getting Cook Park in Colonie.
