It was great to see TJ Scorsone in a Hawks jersey. Great competitor and class guy.
Hawks started Andy Buchan on the hill. Andy is a quality pitcher for sure and with a little better luck, this 12-1 outcome would have been a lot closer. Not to mention, the Hawks were without Kevin Jackson and Herb Friedman.
Giants got several hits that just fell just short of the OFers or barely skirted the IFers.
Darrell Duncan led the Giants with a double, 2 singles and 2 RBI. Tony Nardacci, Jim Whitford and Ron Smaka each had two hits for the Giants.
TJ reached base all 4 times he came up, Gilbert Travis had a double, single and was HBP in his 3 plate appearances and Geo Falco added two hits for the Hawks.
