The 45 Reds scored 4 times in the top of the 7th, in beating the Bombers 5-4. After Darin Ambridge held the Reds to 1 run over 5 innings, the Reds rallied against reliever Lex Herlett, with the big hit coming from Ed Class with the bases loaded, knocking in the tying and winning runs with a liner in the gap. The Bombers out hit the Reds 6-5, both team scoring some unearned runs. Ron Massaroni picked up the win with 2 scoreless innings, in relief of Chris Dunn, who went 5 innings giving up 4 runs, 1 earned. Ed Class had 3 RBI to lead the Reds. Tony Parella led the Bombers with 2 hits and 2 RBI. Next up for the Reds are the Shasky's at 10am Sunday.
Great Job by the Reds in never giving up. I had nightmares about Chris Dunn's curveball all night. He pitched brilliant. We look forward to the re-match.
