I think the only place it didn't rain today was at Blatnick park!! Driving down thru amsterdam it was pouring, thru Scotia it was raining thru schenectady it was drizzling when arrived at Blatnick park wasnt any rain! blue sky above the field!
Warriors a new team to the division, and are proving not to be taken lightly! Jay Goldberg threw well and was spotted an early 2 run lead off Yankee starter Smitherman, and Yankees bats were held scoreless for 4. yankees manufacture a run in the top of 4 but Warriors were pesky and grab 2 more in their bottom frame to a 4-1 lead off Yankees reliever, Yankees grab 1 run in the top of 5 to cut it to a 4-2 lead. Top 6th yankees score 3 to grab the first lead of the game! Yankees Powell comes in to close it out for the victory! 5-4
Warriors are a very competitive team and arent shy to take there swings and swing often. Great bunch of guys and look forward to them in our next match-up!
