The Bears are desperately trying to round out the roster and are in need of three more full-time players (more would be nice, but three will suffice) - we have more than enough "substitutes."

I have contacted every member of on the free agent list:

Jason Perkins: spoke with directly. Has no money and no way of getting himself to practices or games (and he lives in Queensbury).
Lee Davison: spoke with directly. Is going to play in the 45's and has no interest in the 35's anymore.
Heath Bartlett: Sent several e-mails and phone calls with no response.
Jonathan Hayes: Sent several e-mails and phone calls with no response.
Brian Friel: Sent several e-mails and phone calls. He responded once saying that he would be at one of the practices, never showed and hasn't responded since.
Adam Tranka: Sent several e-mails with no response. No phone number listed.
Mark Leonard: Sent several e-mails with no response. No phone number listed.
Steve McCoy: Sent several e-mails with no response - the phone number listed on the website is either incorrect or has been disconnected.
Craig Pruiksma: Left several messages on voice mail and with a person living with him. No response and no e-mail listed.
Keith Freeman: Just received word from Mr. Freeman that he has been picked up by the Pirates, probably should remove him from the list.
Mike Mittler: New to the list, left phone message and e-mail.

With the exception of Mr. Mittler, I don't see the value in maintaining this list. No responses - not even so much as an "I've been picked up by (team name here)." Maybe we should drop them from the list and make them reapply if they are still interested?
