45 Dodgers Live On .... Room for a Couple Players

Thanks Artie ..... As much as managing is a major PIA and despite offers to go play on a couple of legitimate contenders i just didn't have the heart to say no when people asked me to reconsider / stay on..... the fact that we all get along and no one complains is probably more important to having a good season than anything else and i like playing ball and busting balls with all of the guys on the Dodgers.

Funny thing is i already picked up one new guy for the team ..... and he was asked to play for the team that my other guys left to play on but wanted to play with us so he must see something positive with our team biggrin

Well ..... despite my initial decision to give up the helm and just play instead of managing we had a meeting and the guys talked me into remaining their fearless leader confuse

We lost three guys to free agency and have a couple more who are dealing with serious injuries and may or may not be able to play next season.

Sooo .... we have room for several strong ballplayers..... we still have a solid core of guys including a solid pitching staff and defense.

I have been hearing rumor after rumor of lots of changes in the 45's .... we can take a couple of individuals or a group of quality players if any of the other teams fold or get dismantled by player movement.

One thing i will say for our entire team is that no one complains or causes issues ... so if that sounds good you can count on me continuing that type of environment.

John,

This is great news for the league!! I'm glad your hanging in there and I know you will find some good players to help in the near future as I also will be looking for some this year to replace players who have left or can't make enough games.

I wish you and the Dodgers the best of luck, and remember this is just a game and meant to be fun whether it's
having an average season or a championship season. The BlueJays will be looking forward to again enjoying some fun competition with the Dodgers.

All The Best,

Artie G.

Glad to see you stay on as manager of the Dodgers. Good luck next year and I am sure you will find some players.

Thanks john for taking on the responsibility of managing once again. My advice is to make yourself the general manager so the rest of the league will know who's buttocks to kiss. Nothing worse than being an azz kisser and finding out it was a waste of time. I have to go mow the lawns. See you later.
