Sad news ...

Jerry Solomon's mom passed away Sunday night.
Jerry pitches for the 35 Padres, 45 Black Sox and 55 Whiz Kids.

Jerry's mom could be seen at most games, even if it was from her car seat, watching her son mow down a lot of good hitters.

I'm sure Mrs. Solomon has left a legacy for friends and family for which they are all proud. She certainly raised one helluva son.

My condolences, buddy!

Thanks for all your thoughts. Her biggest complaint for the last 5 years was that she couldn't go and watch the games anymore Sunday's at New Scotland. Heckling Randy was just a bonus! She loved our league, the Mets and anything to do with baseball till the end. Thanks- Jerry
