Yankees beat Golden Marlins 6-3.

The Golden Marlins managed 10 hits against Yankee ace, Darren Ambridge, and a couple of other hard hit balls right at fielders, but Darren was able to scatter those hits and get the outs he needed, when he needed them, to limit the Marlins to just 3 runs.
Meanwhile, the Yankees made the most of their 7 hits off Marlins starter, Phil Gadomski, grouping 4 of them around a Marlin error, in the 3rd inning, to plate 4 in that inning, and 6 overall to win the game 6-3.
Mike Reutter was the only Yankee to manage 2 hits, as he collected RBI singles in the 3rd and 5th innings.
Tom Maney and Randy Craft had 2 singles each for the Golden Marlins.
The Marlins drop to 7 - 7, with the loss and play next on Sunday 8/18, vs the Black Sox.
