the Hawks have lodged a protest because they were not notified prior to last night's game that the Marlin's would be using a sub---which it turned out they didn't need, because they had enough players--hopefully the guy didn't pitch--we'll check on that--if he did, we'll rethink the penalties
we are doing this not so much because of this unthinkable, outrageous, unheard of affront, which might just be a sickening back office mixup--but so it doesn't happen in the future
as compensation?
the Hawks want trophies for each player, and two all stars be named from the Hawks--no, wait--three
and, that the league go back to requiring allstars be named from each team--or, maybe the Hawks want a refund of four years of $$$ paid for those trophies
also, that Skip Treece be traded to the Hawks, as we need a catcher
granted, Skip can veto the trade, as his long term contract specifies
I am now thinking of more penalties----right now, I'm thinking these penalties are non negotiable and final--
on the other hand, the Marlins can forfeit the game--their choice
plus, they can prep the field prior to each game, and install dugouts and a scoreboard (moveable, of course)
if I was notified, which I don't think I was--well, I still want the trophies and allstars
