Dodgers went up 4-0 in the first .... Leadoff batter Hicks gets hit by a pitch, Chuck Sohl walks and Nick Kanellis doubles then a Corrigan walk and a Duncan double. In the bottom of the 2nd the Dodgers extend their lead to 8-0 on a Conlin single, Cortese double, a Hicks single and Altobelli and Kanellis singles.
The original game plan was to pitch Conlin for 3 then get Kisselburgh some work but since Brett had not allowed a hit through 3 innings he went out to start the 4th ..... after a leadoff K the Cougars loaded the bases on 2 BB's and a single. So in comes Kisselburgh with the bases loaded and he struggled a bit in the beginning and a COugars walk, FC, single and 2 more BB brought the score to 8-4 after 4 innings. At that point Kisselburgh settled down and allowed one hit over the next two innings.
Dodgers tacked on 3 more in the sixth on a Newcomb walk, Reed triple, Conlin single and a Hicks triple. The Cougars added 1 more in the 7th.
Dodgers move to 4-3 and face the Marlins next week.
