it has been brought to my attention that june 22nd will be a work day at the satellite field. there will be 10 yards of dirt waiting to be spread onto that field, and for that to happen many hands will be needed. please, if you can only give a few hours , it is greatly appreciated. i'm told there will be folks there Friday nite also, so if that's doable for you, show up. bring the kids, show 'em that dad's a civic minded individual, and isn't afraid to give back. these are positive steps in the right direction,and will eventually benefit everyone who plans on playing in this league. all of us who love baseball want to play on the best fields around,so here's the opportunity to make that ideal happen,one field at a time,starting at the satellite field. as far as i'm concerned, there should be a committee set up whose sole purpose is to make this happen at other fields as well. I know this league has the professionals with contacts who can help out with this. how about a couple of fella's who don't usually get involved at that level pick up the ball and get started on this venture. I believe you will find it rewarding to know you can make a difference. we can only count on each other to make things happen. no one is giving anything away, so it's going to be up to us . get involved guys . your league needs you.
