After waiting 8 years on a list for season tickets, I got a call last Friday from the Boston Red Sox offering 4 seats in section 164 loge box, row JJ. They are 5 rows off the left field line about half way up the wall. Excellent perspective of the monster and in foul ball territory. Great view of the field. A rare opportunity that comes along once in a life time. Starting June 4th I will have 4 tickets a game for the remaining 51 home games and playoffs..... If anyone wants to get to Fenway let me know! They're $115 a seat.. Call me at 802-375 3203 or text. Not always a fan of soliciting on the site but thought this would be easiest way to get the word out to all CDMSBL brothers. Thanx Pete G
Damn Pete - I was hoping it was for a REAL team, the Pittsfield Suns!!
For those who don't know, Pete's son Mike will be playing for the Suns this summer in Pittsfield, at Wahconah Park. The Suns are a team in the Futures League, a league of exceptional college ballplayers.

So Pete .... i was thinking you and your son should play on my team in the father son games
Then i will recruit Gary Fish from the 45 Black Sox to join us ..... his son was named 2013 MAAC Player of the Year after a great season at Siena.
Seriously though big congrats to both kids and parents... it is great to see stuff like this!
Thanks guys for the kind replies. I'll keep u posted on the Pittsfield Suns. The manager is Tom Conley who played 4 years at umass, catching all 4 years. Catchers usually can manage. He currently is an assist coach at Bryant Univ. They have made it into the NCAA tournament by beating scared heart for NEC crown. The Suns were purchased by the Goldklang group who own 4 other minor league teams and are approx 10% owners of the Yankees. Their other teams are Ft Myers Miracle, Hudson Valley Renegades, Charleston RiverDogs and St. Paul Saints. The general manager is Kevin McQuire, graduated from SUNY-Cortland in 2010. He came to the Suns last year after serving as Director of Promotions and Entertainment for NY-Penn League Hudson Valley Renegades. The Futures League is another summer collegiate league featuring D1,D2 kids primarily. There are 8 teams in the league around New England from cape cod to old orchard beach Maine. Should be a great summer of baseball. It's a 2 month season starting June 6th. Mike graduates from IMG acad that day and will join the suns June 8th.
