I'd like to apologize to the 55 cardinals and Marlins. I blew a rules call and there is no excuse for it. I've made that call probably 50 times or more in my 3 years of umping, but on this night I had a mind meltdown and missed it. I knew it very soon after the play, but by then it was too late.
I enjoy the 55 division and look forward to my next game with them.
Joe; I always enjoy seeing you behind the plate at our 55 games. You have always given an honest effort, and I think you do great job!
Nobody hits 1000, and eveybody makes errors.
Smelling the pinetar, feeling the sun on your jersey, ,seeing friends at the ballpark, and appreciating the gift of baseball in the CDMSBL is the experience .
See you soon Joe, on another summer night for baseball!
Say it ain't so, Joe. I hope your missed call didn't cost Maney a perfect game. Seriously, the nice thing about umping games in the 55 division is that all is forgiven the next morning with things like that. Not that we've gotten over them, we just can't remember them.

I will take you umpiring one of my games at any time. You work hard at it and are very attentive. And you take pride in a job well done. One thing I like about you umping my games is that I can talk to you about the calls. You take praise and criticism well. And as Tim was saying about memories is that...um...what did he say?.. about what?
