Wet rain Wet Field but with alot of field work by the MAN at schenectady baby ruth ( he was a huge help) We were able to get our game in. Sun even came out! Reds took an early 1-0 bottom of first, off Yankees starter Smitherman. Yankees tie it up top of 2, but Reds came back with a run of their own in the bottom of 2. Yankees take a commanding lead in the top of 3 plating 3 runs with a HR by Duemler. also with some walks to the next 3 out of 4 hitters. Reds cut the lead to 1 run by scoring another run to make it 4-3in bottom of 3. Bottom 4 reds score 2 to take a late game lead and with the dark and fog rollling in umps advised would be cut short due to darkness! Yankees play 2 runs top of 5 to take the lead again and Reds held scoreless Yanks win 6-5. Competitive game by both teams.
