Ok, so where are the rules of the Bulletin Board content to be displayed written anyways? I mean if you can't talk about the field conditions (unless you can't see the obvious and agree with the propaganda you've been fed regarding how stellar the field was going to be this year and you feed the thought police the words the praise they so desire), and you can't talk about stats from a game (unless you agree with the league bully and his compatriots), and you can't make even a blatantly obvious joke (unless it is once again approved of by the thought police), then what exactly is one "permitted" to discuss on a baseball bulletin board with his peers?
And why is it only randomly and selectively even mentioned by "the powers that be" according to their own subjective whims? Plenty of people post random, non-baseball related messages about any variety of topics, but we can't talk about the baseball games we play in or the fields we play on? And then they call me stupid and make fun of my southern heritage? Hmmm...
Oh, but yet that's perfectly ok if you happen to be associated with the above mentioned powers that be, or if you assuage the league hierarchy and resident bully's fantasy worldview around local senior men's baseball...
Well, all I really have to say at this point is this (note the "at this point" because I have ZERO intentions of being quiet on what I determine is pertinent subject matter, NOT what the thought and word police deem as arbitrarily acceptable)... While in the Army I spent more then long enough in various combat zones around the planet then to be dictated to as to what I am allowed and not allowed to say regarding baseball in the land that I have given my entire life to... So whether you're a Red Stater or Blue Stater, the last time I checked, this was all still the
United. States. Of. America.
Where there is this thing called the First Amendment and not only protects, but ensures our freedom of speech... And while it was one thing being on foreign soil for years and trying to help others win their basic human rights and dignities, I am only naturally going to use all of my available resources to defend my own personal rights here in my homeland...
And make no mistake, New York is a part of my homeland every bit as much as is Alabama and/or Florida where I grew up... And the Same First Amendment standards apply, with the same recourse available should they continue to be trampled upon...
So good luck to all and I'll see ya'll () out there, ya here now???
Err wait, next they'll prolly resort to trying and tell me I'll be fined or suspended for making jokes about myself when they run out of other nonsense to try and say I can't say... Sheesh louise...
i personally look forward to your next missive. what i really want to read is what happens when you finally reach grand poobah status. let yer freak flag fly.

I'm not sure who Marcus Aurelius is, but my husband has been playing for CDMSBL for quite some years now and I find that your comments that you post on the Bullentin Board to be very upsetting and disturbing. This is a league of guys that has been playing baseball for years together and a true brotherhood. I'm not really sure what is actually happening with your situation, but whenever I go on this site to check out stats, etc. and I see your name, I cringe just thinking what you will be posting. I understand that people have differences, cause no one is going to agree on everything, but it doesn't seem like you can agree with anything. I understand that I am not a ball player in this league, but I do enjoy this League. CDMSBL is a true caring bunch of guys that want to play baseball and have a good time. So, my opinion, if you could have "positive" postings, it would be most appreciated. By the way, I am at all baseball games cheering the guys on, and being supportive of the league, which is the best league and best bunch of guys doing what the love most, PLAYING BASEBALL:)
