Oh that's an easy one ~ at least in my divisions... 35's ~ Highlanders all the way baby! Worst to first, watch it and eat dust... 45's ~ The Upstate NY Yankees w/Jeter Jr @ SS! And a brother named Jorge on the bump!
And uh yeah ~ there are no winners in the 25's as the age group combined with the 18's and there is no specific 25's any longer... I'm kinda sad about that...
But not very...
And there you have it from the last of the Good Emperors... Stevie left that part out of my bio!
Ha, I know right? It took a LOT of hard work too Ralph as I managed to get my guru status in a mere 2 years since while I've been in the league 4 now (this will make 5 if I live thru it), I didn't really know much about it the first 2 and never posted until before the playoffs in '12... I had been kinda avoiding the bulletin board for the last few months and just laying low, but alas, I took the bait on this one as seriously, I am proud of the much-improved ballclubs I play on as we have added some serious talent and they may well help take us to the promised land! And maybe more importantly, they are some seriously funny guys
But either way, it's exactly as our league comedian Donnie Ball said at the banquet, we ALL have hope right about this time of year!
And if you don't, well, God help ya to get you some...
Nice job, Marcus. Put a target on us before the season starts.
Our team is revamped and has a lot of young talent but we still have three excellent teams in our division (35's): Dodgers, Cubs and Rays. I think they'll end up in some order as the #1, #2 and #3 seeds and the rest of the other five teams will be fighting for that #4 seed. With the folding of the A's who were a pretty good team plus the influx of talent from the guys who turned 35 and the folding of the 25's the other five teams should be improved as well.
The one prediction that can be made is that even the teams at the bottom of the division will be better than in years past and there should be a lot of competitive games this year (in the 35's).
Ha, funny Mike, funny... Even funnier because I know you aren't just joking and expect the Highs to be low on the totem pole yet again this year... Hell, you have a brain and eyes and saw the debacle of last year, hence it would be silly to think anything else, so I don't blame you even a bit... But uh yeah, we'll see soon enough as this team doesn't even remotely resemble the Highlanders of years past as we have six 35 year old "kids"who all have baseball experience... And they are not just funny, fun guys, but they can all play ball ~ including a couple hurlers... It's exciting to get it going and yep, I'll see ya out there soon enough!
1) We gotta play 'em one day at a time. 2) I'm just happy to be here. Hope I can help the ballclub. 3) I just want to give it my best shot, and the good Lord willing, things will work out.
