The work planned on Satellite is great, however it is imperative that the outfield be rolled. Everyone who has played in the outfield there last year, or saw the balls bounce at 45 degree angles, or twisted ankles, knows how uneven the field has become due to soccer play on the rain soaked field. I would suggest that we wait to roll it until after the fence is put up, which should discourage any new damage this year.
as one who, more times than he wants to count, looked like the buffoon out there when a one- or two-hopper suddenly darted to either side of me or bounced surprisingly at my head, i concur with bob.
of course, that'll reduce my excuses by one. -mike

Rolling must be done at the right field condition...not too dry and of course too wet. And getting the people who will do it to cooperate with you..Speaking from many years of experience with Little League fields.
