First off props to the Cubs on a 3-1 win tonight. They found a way to win without really hammering the ball like they usually do in games. I wanted to say how proud I am of the Rays as they fought off injuries and guys out of position to get to the semi-finals. I am very proud of this team and look forward to getting better. We were down 3-0 in the 7th and fought back to get the tying runs in scoring position. We never gave up all year!
Mario and Rays, Great job in your first year in the 35's. You assembled some great players ( and some new faces) but its always hard to make it all come together. I also would like to point out that Mario and the Rays firmly secured the use of Albany Central Babe Ruth's field. They also showed up as team to that fields pre season work day.
