Friday night at New Scotland the Platinum Marlins and Nolan Propane Cardinals met for their final regular season game. It was a battle until the Cards broke it open in the 5th inning. Up to that point the Marlins were ahead 5-4. The Card's bats came alive in the 5th. scoring 6 runs, and added two in the 6th. for a final score of 12-6. Jim Gedney took the hill for the fish and the combo of Jerry Solomon and Jim Latorre went for the birds. It's hard to believe that the season is just about finished. The playoffs should be very interesting.Good Luck everyone.
