The +35 Pirates are looking for another quality pitcher to add to our staff. We currently sit atop the league standings with an undefeated record, and have a lot more baseball left to play.
Any roster moves must be made before July 1st; so if you know of someone that may be interested, or play in another division and would like to pitch in the +35 division as well, a great opportunity awaits. Please contact me at your earliest convenience and we'll see if we can work something out.

Bob: Where would you suggest I look for players familiar with the CDMSBL, twitter? Perhaps Facebook, Match.com, or maybe christiansingles.com? Craigslist? The Amsterdam Recorder?
Ideally, I would like to find a young gun from one of the other divisions who is also eligible to play in the 35's as well. I've been recruiting players since last December, and had two ACES from Vermont lined up until March, when they decided it was just too far to travel; I was even at your Shuttleworth Park stomping grounds last week trying to find someone from the Roy Hobbs league to help us - but to no avail.
Looking back at my posts, I do see that it may look like I was trying to scavenge other teams in the 35 division with hopes of putting together a super-staff; trust me, that was not my intention - and I offer my apology to the league for improper use of the bulletin board.
That being said, one of the topics that was discussed during the winter manager's meeting was player movement and how we should help facilitate moves if certain players were disgruntled with their situation or perhaps wanted to make a fresh start with a different group of players. Believe me, there are very few opportunities as satisfying in this league as joining the group of guys we have on the Pirates.
I will change the wording of my latest post.

One final thought: I ask that there be no more replies to this post, for fear that it turn into an unnecessary debate or p*ssing contest.
