Mrs Lounello's obituary ...


Lounello, Mary A. ALBANY - Mary A. Lounello passed away on Thursday, June 14, 2012, following a long illness. Born in Troy, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Stephen and Adelaide Shover. Mrs. Lounello resided in Albany County for most of her life. She resided in NYC in her early 20's and was proud to have dinner with the actor Errol Flynn. Mrs. Lounello had a wonderful contagious laugh. She enjoyed roller skating, dancing, riding motorcycles, music and especially reading. She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Edward J. Lounello, of Albany and she is the beloved mother of Edward S. Lounello (Christine Isdell) of Latham, Stephen J. Lounello, of Albany and Richard A. Lounello (Maryhelen), of Albany. She is also survived by her brother, Richard F. Shover; a niece, Joan Harris, of Latham, many other nieces and nephews, and a dear friend, Debbie Agley, of Albany. The family wishes to thank Trisha and Tiffany, the nurses from Community Hospice of Albany County. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Lounello was also predeceased by her father and mother-in-law, William and Rose Lounello, who died several years ago. Calling hours will be held on Monday, June 18, 2012 from 4 to 7 p.m. at New Comer-Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie, N.Y. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association , 155 Washington Ave, Ste 210, Albany, NY 12210 in memory of Mrs. Lounello. Not sure if you will get this memo but even though i am not with the Cubbies/Marlins physically i am always there at least in spirit and i wanted to express my deepest sympathy to you specifically and your family first and foremost for your loss... My prayers are with you and your family
