Cubs beat the yankees today with an inspirational pitching performance by Steve Lounello, he gave up 2 hits, 6k's and no runs. The cubs defense supported Steve with some incredible plays as well. CUbs offense was led with a home run from Mike Girard and also with hitting throughout their lineup. Steve with everything that you have went thru the past couple days I speak for my team and probably the whole league, you will be in our prayers and congratulations on a stellar pitching performance.
