Tom Maney went 3-4, scored 3 runs, had 2 SB, and 2 RBI to lead the WhizKids over the Yankees Wednesday night. Maney reached on an error in the 1st, stole 2nd, and scored on a double off the left field fence by Darrell Duncan, who later scored on an error. Mike Lannon's SF plated Ralph Caputo with the 3rd run of the inning. The Yanks got their lone run in the bottom half of the 1st on a double by Hervieux, and a single by Shellhouse. The Whiz got that one back in the 2nd, Jim Konstantakis scoring on a groundout by Jesse Braverman. They broke the game open with 7 runs in the 5th, Maney and Caputo with 2 RBI each. Duncan (1-0) went 3 innings, Konstantakis and Caputo 2 innings each. Good job by Ray Demers and the rest of the Yankees, who played without their full roster. Jim Porter-WhizKids
