Albany Athletics are looking for a non-league game on Tuesday 5/29/12 at Central Park C Diamond starting at 6 pm. Umpires and field are set. Athletics would take on the cost of field rental, umpires and game balls for this game. You just need to have a team in uniform for a real game (sorry if I insulted anyone but I never assume). I just looked it up and I think it's the Twilight league Champions ~ including JJ... So uh yeah, we better put up a helluva good mix and if we could get enough guys, then I'm definitely open to it... Just let me know John ~ if we aren't too old??? I don't think there's a lot of 45 year olds in the Twilight league, is there? And if they would do it, I'd really love an opportunity to play with Mike Girrard and Steve Lounello as I think they can both play against anyone, anywhere, regardless of age... And I saw Mickey's younger brother Nate in action, a damn stud he is... Maybe we could get him? Uh, or is he on the their team too already??? Let me go look at their roster...

Guys, I appreciate the interest and enthusiasm but I was hoping for a younger team to play against, even a 25 and up team. With the exception of JJ, Shook and Bill Lawton, my guys are 18-29 yrs old.
Yep ~ that's understandable Joe... Q is the one who could maybe get a 25 all star team together in a jiffy as Nate Novack and a few of the other "kids" could surely give you guys some competition...
I appreciate your understanding. I talked with Q and he suggested I put the post on this bulletin board since his team was not available but I would definitely welcome a division wide or CDMABL All Star team to play.
Or what about contacting the manager of the Columbia County Canons ~ they are the 25 Division Champs and maybe they could give you a game??? Though it seems as though you already have JJ and Shook, so I don't know who they'd get to play for since they are our top pitchers too of course! Maybe you cold split it and let JJ pitch for one side and Shook the other ~ Hell, I'd come watch!
