On a beautiful evening for baseball Player of the Game John Weber pitched a superb 3 hitter with 6 K's and no walks. This game was a pitchers duel until the 3rd when the BlueJays scored on a walk with the bases loaded. In the 4th Mike Surin led off with a double and moved to third on a wild pitch third strike in which the batter made it to First. A Shasky's error led 2 runs to score. Additional runs were scored in the 5th and 6th inning.
Overall Bluejays defense was outstanding with a beautiful catch made by Bob Yakatan on a tailing ball down the right field line.
The pitcher for the Shaskys pitcher Tesserivvo ( I hope I didn't butcher the name to much) pitched very well and walks and some errors did him in.
The Shasky's are a scrappy and competitive new team to the division and a bunch of great guys on their team.
