Alright Guys ~ so turns out I am getting married in Cooperstown on Friday August 10th...

And how's this for the greatest wife-to-be in history ~ she has offered to pay for my Yankee team to play at Doubleday field on either Saturday the 11th, or Sunday the 12th!!!

D2 is not sure of the exact process to obtain the field and I got caught up at work on Friday and didn't have time to make the call, so am looking for info on the process... I know that several teams from our league have played there and I am sure someone knows something, no???

Even better would be if someone here knows someONE there as a contact to try and secure the date... I kinda just need to know asap since the dates are booking quick and she wants to finalize our date... If I know for sure about the field, I can likely still adjust the Farmer's Museum and/or Otesaga dates where we are getting married... Err, at least w/in a week or 2 anyways...

Plus the Leatherstocking golf course is right there too, so needless to say, I am a lucky man indeed!!!
But nothing could make it better than playing a game on Doubleday field!
And my brother turns 45 as well and could play with me while in town, so how cool would that be???

Especially if we can take on either the Marlins or I'd love another shot at Bob, Steve, and Jimmy's Giants!!!
