Hello, I had the honor of playing for Ralph for 3 years. I have done some research and decided to start donating to the V foundation in his honor. After contacting them we cannot set up a specific fund in his name but we can donate and dedicate it to him. If you have not read the other posts on this topic, Ralph was a cancer survivor and this organization is truly a godsend and if any have not heard Jimmy V's speech i strongly encourage you to do so. I have contributed to the Jimmy V Fund in the past. I still have 2 shirts left with the big V on the front. On the back is one of V's most recognized quotes: "Don't give up; don't ever give up.''
That is one of the most powerful speeches you could ever hear. I had my cousin listen to it after she was diagnosed with cancer. Unfortunately, she died at the age of 44 back in 2003.
