2012 - Labor Day Tournament - Team RAKE

Hats off to Maine this year - they came to play. Beat us far and square. Great job guys.

Ok - onto 2012. I am throwing my hat into this arena and want to put together a new team for next year. It will be the RAKE team with RAKE jersey's. For those of you who aren't famaliar with RAKE, it's my own little wood baseball bat company. I spoke to my marketing and PR departments (that would be me) - we think it's a great idea to change things up for next year's tournament.

So, I'm hoping to assemble a competitive group of guys who like to have fun as well. So far, Team RAKE has one player. I'm thinking there should be more.

Lenny - thanks for the offer but the beauty of playing/winning/losing with guys I've known for a long tme (some, over 30 years), is the history we've shared and the connectiion between us. Winning a tournament with guys I have no history with, isn't really the same thing. I say that with all due respect. I'm a homeboy : )

Steve....................What age level? I am not sure if I could get a age waiver to play in the 45's if I am 10 years away?

Would you be willing to sponsor a 25 or 35 division team? Our 25 division Albany team has won the division 2 years in a row.

Keep me posted!

Q - I was thinking the 45 division. I wish I had the funds for jerseys for two teams. But you never know what can develop between now and a year from now.

Lenny - always looking for guys to play with you...

Glad to hear you had a great trip. Wife put me to work for the weekend, coupled with a cranky hamstring kept me off the fields.

Couldn't agree more Louie, Congrats to you Lenny and rest of the Maine men on a great tourney. You always come prepared to play. Good to see Bill Arsenault and other familiar faces still at it. We've had a lot of great head to head matchups over the years and I'm glad to have been a part of many of them.

Again, congrats
