Hey Guys - I'm a counselor for a non-profit organization. We work with at-risk youth (ages 16-21) in a variety of ways to help them get to a better place in their lives.
We're trying to find some old baseball gloves and softball equiment in hopes of organizing some friendly softball games for the kids because, "You can learn more about a person in an hour of play than in a year of conversation".
Did I mention we are a non-profit organization, ok, good! If you have ANY old gloves or ANY softball equipment laying around that you would like to find a new home for, we would love to have it and it would be GREATLY appreciated - completely tax deductible as well.
Feel free to email me at work: slounello@equinoxinc.org
Steve, I play softball down here in Catskill, and we just purchased some new bats and balls.I will ask if I can take the old bats and a basket of balls for your organization. I will give you a call when I find out. Harold Jenkins 45 site Admin.
I bet a lot of you have old gear bags that your wives would love to get rid of. Might want to take the opportunity to donate before she puts some more of your stuff (or you) in the bag before she gets rid of it.
