I had some guys ask me to put a team together for the Puerto Rico tournament in Feb.
This has just become a National Tournament and they now give out rings to the winner. Its a five game minimum and the weather is the best out of all the tournaments we do. I was looking to do a 45 team, but will go with a 35 if we have too. Look on the National site for the dates and for the cost.
It costs just as much as all the other tournaments. We can share rooms to cut down on expenses if you want, but plan on it costing about a $1000 all in. I can set up a payment plan for some guys if you want. If you put $150/month away from now through Jan. you would be all set. If you cant get the time off, talk to me about firing your boss.
I can get a few guys from the pool if we need them.
joe and mike ; we (the hummingbirds) went to the 1'st tourney in 95 and again in 96 we were very competitive. i'ts a very good tourney,with excellent majoir league fields, with the clemmentie complex newly refurbished .if you decide to go you will need an indoor facility to work out , one of my favorite tourneys!
