First of all, let me apologize for the lack of a column for week #1. My plan was to do a write up prior to the game and have it up by Thursday. I'll admit it, I dropped the ball. It turns out I was lucky and the game was rained out anyway.

Onto week #2 - again, another lack of preparation as I had the voting closed on Saturday but the game that was to get coverage plays today leaving me with little time to get the managers input. So my plan for this week is to do a write up of the post-game coverage unless I can get the managers' feedback from both teams to whom I sent out e-mails this morning but I admit that this is short notice.

That said, I am posting a new poll for next week and I will close voting on Thursday so if a Monday game wins the poll I will have enough time to get something together PRE-game. That's the goal.

I will put my two cents in and sy that I think the game for week #3 should be the Pirates v. Shaskys game at Cooperstown but I will post a poll.

Sorry again guys and hopefully by the end of the year I'll actually have my act together and a system in place that will make this easier to perform.
