Any Love?

I'm sure some of you would like to wish me and my beloved Red Sox the best of luck in the '07 World Series, but the pressure of posting anything on your web site about the Red Sox could be quite damaging. I understand. Peer pressure. For the record, I'm sorry to see Joe leave, but that offer was completely ridiculous! I think the Empire will truly find out how important Senor Torre really was to the team next year.

No love here... for the Yankee brass that is... this last debacle has me seriously reconsidering my alligience to that "organization". I may root for the Sox or the Indians next year in hopes of dismal, Torre(less) season. The attitude of $=world series wins is absurd. If they looked at it properly, it should be $ = the opportunity for post season play. The whole Slimebrenner clan can stick it as far I am concerned, along with his Mini-Me Cashman. Must be why I am a Green Bay Packer Fan, they treat their fans and players with a bit of respect.

You will get none from me. I am a National League fan and my two least favorite teams in all of sports are the Yankees and the Red Sox.

GO ROCKIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Boo hoo Joe Torre couldn't live on a paltry 5 million a year. Bring on Don Mattingly so he can finally get the World Series ring he deserved as a player. They can hire Paul Oneill as his bench coach and watch him slam some loafing millionaire off the water cooler. Let A-Rod opt out of New York and in to Chicago, send rocket on a trajectory back to Texas, bring on the kids who love the game and play it that way. And just remember one of the greatest ballplayers ever, Ted Williams on his last at bat hitting that home run and trotting around the bases with his head down all the way to the dugout. But cheer for the Red Sox......... Never!!!!!
