Steve Lounello and Carlos Llera pitched complete games in games 1 and 3 to lead the Mets to a series win against the Cubs. Its hard to shut down that offense but Los and Lounello managed to keep them off balance.

Someone left a pair of work boots, shorts, shirt next to the first base dug on Sunday 9/8 after the Shasky's game. I found them after our Black Sox / Red Sox game and placed them in the dugout.

Found on Sunday, September 1, in the first base dugout at New Scotland Town Park: a pair of catcher's shin guards and a roller ball pen. I thought this stuff belonged to the Grays, who occupied the dugout for a doubleheader earlier that day, but they say no. Frank 518-758-2216
