The A's want to say thank you to Chris Bearup for getting the Joe Bruno stadium for tonights amazing all-star game. It was a great time and went off without a hitch. Great turnout by the fans too.....there were hundreds there! Playing on a field like that under the lights is a rare and appreciated honor....

It would be really great for the winning managers to report the results from the games as soon as possible during this last week of the regular season. The all-important playoff seedings are still very much up in the air.

what I know right now is this. the 9AM New Scotland game has been canceled. they may move to 5PM . If they don't I will entertain moving another game in that slot. the 11:30 and 2:30 New Scotland games will go off has scheduled. there will be no games played at Satellite today. umpires have been no...

Umpires have been notified. will talk to GM's later today or on Sunday to see about makeups. possibilities are evenings 8/31 thru 9/4. then Labor Day, then evenings 9/8 thru 9/11. I realize their will be daylight issues even for 5:30 evening games. hopefully we can get at le...

The poll will end by friday of this week. As of right now its heavily in favor of not having a player movement rule which means guys would be able to play where they wanted. Thanks for all who have voted and this gives us at the board level an opportunity to see what the league wants. Thanks Q
